Developing Destiny, Inc is a dream that began in New York and has now come into fruition. My wife Beverly and I are originally from New York. I worked in the New York School System for over twenty years, while Beverly worked for the State of New York’s DMV. When we weren’t working on our professional jobs, we worked passionately in community development. For over fifteen years, Beverly and I were actively involved in serving food to those living in shelters as well as the homeless. Our passion grew and grew so we took our community services and ministry a step further and began visiting the inmates throughout the tri-state area. This experience was quite humbling. In 1999, we were inspired to move to Jacksonville, Florida. Not willing to give up on reaching out to the community, we did some research and found several opportunities to continue what we started in New York. We found that there was plenty of work to do in Jacksonville. We continue to this day going into shelters, the streets, nursing homes and the prisons with a message of hope and God’s love.

“BLESS THE MIC” is a show that gives exposure to new and upcoming artists to showcase their talents and gifts. “BLESS THE MIC” keeps our local viewers informed of the talent in and throughout Jacksonville and the surrounding areas.
